Job Title: Industrial Relations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Relations Specialist to play a critical role in ensuring our compliance with national employment standards and modern awards.

  • The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Law, or a related field, as well as experience working with human resources information systems (HRIS).
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing wage compliance frameworks, interpreting industrial relations legislation, and conducting audits to identify compliance risks.
  • Ability to provide expert advice on employment-related issues and contribute to case management and resolution.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and enhance our wage compliance framework and governance systems. Interpret and apply industrial relations legislation, modern awards, and fair work requirements. Conduct regular audits to track compliance risks and implement remediation strategies. Collaborate with HR teams to ensure policy alignment and best practices.

Required Expertise:

The successful applicant will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and data analytics, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
  • Experience working with SuccessFactors or equivalent HRIS systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
