This role requires a seasoned expert to lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of our SAP's Business Technology Platform (BTP) platform.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP BTP Development modules(UI, extensions, Workflow), software architecture, and best practices in platform engineering.

  • About the Role

    • Key Responsibilities:

      • Set up foundations for BTP Technical build- Coding standards, naming standards, Deployment standards and establishing frameworks for logging, monitoring, alerting.

      • Participate in workshops and working groups with SIs to finalise the technical development approach for the program.

      • Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to design and implement robust platform architectures that meet the organization's performance, scalability, and security requirements.

      • Ensure seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP modules.

      • Work closely with project managers, architects, business leads, solution managers and functional analysts to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with business goals.

      • Lead the response to platform incidents, coordinating with the operations team to ensure timely resolution and minimize downtime.

      • Ensure the platform complies with relevant regulations and industry standards, implementing security best practices to protect sensitive data and systems.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience (7 years) in designing and developing complex SAP builds.

  • Understanding of the SAP BTP platform architecture and catalogue of services.

  • Proficiency in SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) and cloud development languages such as Java, JavaScript, Node.js, or Python.

  • Analytical, results-driven and a solution-oriented way of work.

  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, and DevOps practices.

  • Team player with excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.

  • Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
