About the Role

- ** Fixed term contract role of 2 years**

As an **Integration Lead**, you will oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of our SAP’s Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration platform. You will lead a team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform meets the organization's scalability, reliability, and performance needs. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP BTP integration suites, software architecture, and best practices in platform engineering.

- Deliver an integration environment that is reliable, effective and addresses technology risk to ensure uptime and delivery within SLAs.
- Deliver a continuous improvement program for the integration environment that meets the organization's evolving needs.
- Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to design and implement robust platform architectures that meet the organization's performance, scalability, and security requirements.
- Ensure the SAP integration team contributes to and supports Endeavour’s corporate vision and strategy.
- Work closely with product managers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Provide input to the technology direction and define solutions architecture, design, and development for the integration environment, ensuring best practices and leveraging existing technology assets and investments.
- Drive the SAP Business AI topics, especially in the integration area.
- Lead the response to platform incidents, coordinating with the operations team to ensure timely resolution and minimize downtime.
- Ensure the platform complies with relevant regulations and industry standards, implementing security best practices to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Aid team members in the development and implementation of technical solutions
- Provide regular updates on team priorities and progress

What do we need from you

Now let’s talk about you:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP integration
- Understanding of the SAP BTP platform architecture and catalogue of services.
- Deep Understanding all SAP BTP Integration related Services
- Proven experience with BTP Integration Suite components (Cloud Integration, API Management, Integration Advisor, Open Connectors) and Event Mesh.
- Proven Data Integration experience in SAP Data Intelligence/ SAP Data Intelligence cloud
- Proven Experience in SAP SLT for Data Replication
- Proven Experience in Setting up the integration platform from beginning
- Experience with the following technologies: OData, REST, SOAP, IDOC, RFC, FTP/SFTP, JDBC, JMS, Kafka, AMQP, MQTT, CSV, XML, JSON, YAML, JAVA, XSL, Groovy/JS, CDS View, BW Extractor, ABAP
- Analytical, results-driven and a solution-oriented way of work.
- Proven experience (7 years) in designing and developing complex enterprise-grade integrations.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members. At least 3 years in a professional senior technical role such as technical lead, team lead, architect, or any other hands-on leadership role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
