As a Technical Consultant at Light Project, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with expert lighting design and implementation services. This is a full-time position that will see you collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and other industry professionals to deliver innovative and energy-efficient lighting solutions. Your technical expertise and customer-centric approach will be key to the success of this role.
**What you'll be doing**
- Providing technical guidance and consultancy to clients on all aspects of lighting design and implementation
- Conducting site visits, surveys, and lighting assessments to understand client requirements
- Producing detailed lighting plans, renderings, and technical specifications
- Collaborating with the project team to ensure lighting designs are aligned with the overall project vision
- Advising on the selection of appropriate lighting fixtures, controls, and technologies
- Overseeing the installation and commissioning of lighting systems
- Providing ongoing support and troubleshooting to clients
- Staying up-to-date with the latest lighting trends, technologies, and industry regulations
**What we're looking for**
- Proven technical lighting experience, preferably within the architecture and design industry
- In-depth knowledge of lighting design principles, technologies, and industry standards
- Proficiency in Dialux, AGI, CAD, Indesign, Photoshop, Rendering and animation software as required; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), and Outlook
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and project teams
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, energy-efficient, and sustainable lighting solutions
- Relevant qualifications in lighting design, electrical engineering, or a related field
