The Delivery Lead is a vital role within the IT team, working closely with technical teams, Technical Team Leads, IT Business Partners, Project Managers and business stakeholders. This role will be responsible for ensuring the technical teams adhere to agile principles and practices, orchestrating the successful delivery of key initiatives ensuring outcomes are met and benefits are realised, leading quarterly planning sessions, coordinating all stakeholder communications and fostering a positive culture and effective collaboration between teams.
We have a hybrid policy of 3 days in office (Surry Hills) and 2 days working from home. This role reports to an IT Director - Delivery & Business Engagement
**Responsibilities include**:
- Serve as the link and escalation point between stakeholders and IT technical teams, promoting transparent communication and collaborative partnerships.
- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, guiding teams in best practices to sustain consistent delivery and agile efficiency.
- Oversee the prioritisation and management of sprint backlogs, ensuring tasks are well-defined, achievable, and ready for execution.
- Coordinate and manage workstreams across tactical tasks, initiatives and strategic projects, leveraging tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Proactively identify and address initiative or Strategic project risks and delivery team blockers, facilitating timely resolutions and acting as an escalation point.
- Communicate progress effectively, aligning resources and managing delivery timelines to achieve project milestones and objectives.
- Champion and share best practices in Agile methodologies, tools, and frameworks to promote successful and sustainable project outcomes.
- Partner with business, IT Business Partners and IT teams to facilitate the definition of product vision, roadmaps, and future growth opportunities.
- Facilitate and guide the creation of business cases ensuring outcomes and benefits are clearly identified.
- Monitor and report Agile performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders, driving continuous improvement for impactful delivery.
- Assist teams in breaking down complex technical requirements into actionable tasks and communicate these effectively to non-technical leadership and stakeholders.Support process enhancement initiatives with the Delivery & Business Engagement team, driving improved efficiencies and refined ways of working for greater productivity.

**Who are you?**
- At least 5 years of working experience in agile delivery
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, or XP
- Proficient in Jira, Confluence and Miro
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environmentCertification in agile frameworks such as Scrum Master, Product Owner
