As the Tech Lead at the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA), you will be responsible for the technical delivery of the Core Mod Infrastructure Design and Implement stream. This role is a 2-year fixed term contract based at Bella Vista. You will support the project manager by providing technical guidance into the work breakdown structure, its conversion into JIRA tasks to distribute to the team. You will also partake in the design and implementation of the network and compute of the target Infrastructure Platform. Your key objectives will include:
- Provide technical advisory and assistance to Project Manager and ensuring work breakdown structure and associated administration is maintained.- Engage with vendors and partner stakeholders supporting the delivery of Core Modernisation.- Manage internal stakeholders and system owners to ensure alignment of direction and delivery.- Facilitate the stream’s change controls, scheduling and communications in accordance to the Bank’s implementation of ITIL and change management process.- Contribute to the design and implementation of the Bank’s target network and compute infrastructure.- Communicate effectively within the wider project to provide timeline updates horizontally across the program.

Skills required:
- Extensive experience in project delivery and understanding of project delivery methodologies.- Extensive experience in the use of JIRA or similar tools.- Extensive experience in networks and Cisco ACI technologies.- Experience and understanding of compute, storage and virtualisation technologies.- Experience and understanding of Infrastructure orchestration tools such as Terraform and Ansible.- Experience and understanding of CICD tools and pipelines.- Familiarity with ITIL.
