Disability Support Specialist

We enrich the lives of people with disability by creating choice and control.
As a Disability Support Specialist, you will play an essential role in empowering individuals to live independently and be actively involved in their local community. You will provide a range of services assisting clients to live as independently as possible by assisting with activities of daily living, this can include menu planning, cooking and cleaning. Supports may include personal care needs and assistance with medication. You will also work to behaviour support plans by utilising positive behaviour strategies. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to engage with families about clients' progress.

You will demonstrate resilience, empathy, and self-confidence. High levels of enthusiasm, initiative, and a positive attitude while acting with integrity, honesty, and respect are expected. A valid NSW drivers license is mandatory for this role.
A competitive salary package of up to $73,000 per year including salary packaging benefits awaits the successful candidate.
