About the Role
As an Empowering Lives Support Professional within our shared living team, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering people with disability to live a life of their choosing. You will provide a range of essential services assisting clients to live independently, be actively involved in their local community, and engage in meaningful opportunities.

This is a permanent part-time position, working in-house located in Terrey Hills. Shifts will include early morning (6am start), days, afternoons, weekends, and wake-over shifts. Flexibility to work a minimum of 4 x early shifts a week is a must.

Key Focus
Supporting our clients to live as independently as possible by assisting with activities of daily living, including menu planning, cooking, and cleaning. Supports may also include personal care needs and assistance with medication. Additionally, you will work to behaviour support plans by utilising positive behaviour strategies, communicate with families about clients' progress, and support clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community through the delivery of person-centred programs.

About You
You are passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disability. As a positive and energetic individual, you want to contribute and provide exceptional support to our clients. You want to be part of a fun and dynamic environment where teamwork thrives. You have a flair for creativity while also being organised, and you will demonstrate the ability to engage, communicate, and build partnerships with people.

Experience in the Disability sector is essential. You must have the ability to support others with personal and hygiene care, and be comfortable with this aspect of the role. Personal qualities of resilience, empathy, and self-confidence are highly valued, as well as high levels of enthusiasm, initiative, and a positive attitude while acting with integrity, honesty, and respect. You must also have a driver's license and vehicle.
