**Job Overview:** Reporting directly to the Hardship Team Leader, you will be responsible for reviewing customers' financial hardship requests, evaluating eligibility for assistance programs or payment adjustments, and guiding them through the hardship process with empathy and understanding.

You will work closely with customers to create individualised repayment plans or other solutions that balance their financial capabilities with the company's policies. Collaboration with collections and customer service departments ensures a smooth approach to managing hardship cases.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in a dedicated hardship role within the financial services sector
  • Empathetic, compassionate, and patient nature, providing support to customers in need
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective customer engagement
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure fair and informed decisions
  • Sound judgement to balance customer needs with company policies
