Job Summary

Ashurst is seeking a highly skilled Pursuit Manager to join our Global Pursuit Team in Sydney or Brisbane on a 9 month fixed term contract basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing win strategies and managing end-to-end pursuits of our most strategic opportunities.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with the Global Pursuit Team, the wider Clients, Markets and Growth team, partners and other key stakeholders to develop and execute winning bid strategies. You will be responsible for managing complex work-winning processes, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute win strategies for high-value and strategic pursuits
  • Manage end-to-end pursuit processes, including stakeholder engagement and project management
  • Collaborate with the Global Pursuit Team, Clients, Markets and Growth team, partners and other key stakeholders to develop and execute winning bid strategies
  • Provide technical capability in leading pursuits, including stakeholder engagement and project management skills
  • Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, based on complexity

Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in a pursuit and bid role in legal, professional services or other relevant environments
  • Strong technical capability in leading pursuits, including stakeholder engagement and project management skills
  • Extensive experience developing win strategies with an ability to successfully articulate themes, differentiators and benefits
  • Ability to effectively manage and engage key stakeholders in leading pursuits/bids
  • Highly competent user of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word and PowerPoint
