Strategic Pursuit Manager Opportunity

Ashurst is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Pursuit Manager to join our Global Pursuit Team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing win strategies and managing end-to-end pursuit processes for our most strategic opportunities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth of our firm by ensuring we maximize our chances of winning complex, high-value, and strategic pursuits. You will work closely with our Global Pursuit Team, the wider Clients, Markets, and Growth team, partners, and other key stakeholders to develop bids and proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement win strategies for strategic pursuits
  • Manage end-to-end pursuit processes, including stakeholder engagement and project management
  • Collaborate with the Global Pursuit Team, Clients, Markets, and Growth team, partners, and other key stakeholders to develop bids and proposals
  • Provide technical capability and expertise in leading pursuits, including stakeholder engagement and project management
  • Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, based on complexity

Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in a pursuit and bid role in legal, professional services, or other relevant environments
  • Strong technical capability in leading pursuits, including stakeholder engagement and project management skills
  • Extensive experience developing win strategies with the ability to successfully articulate themes, differentiators, and benefits
  • Ability to effectively manage and engage key stakeholders in leading pursuits/bids
  • Highly competent user of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word and PowerPoint
