Job Description

The Pastoral Care Coordinator is a key role in our organization, requiring strong communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the spiritual and emotional needs of clients and developing individualized care plans to meet those needs.

They will also provide regular updates to team members and management on client progress and any issues that may arise.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of people living at home with life-limiting illness, including dementia, and the impact on carers and journeys of grief and bereavement.
  • Strong personal and active Christian faith and church involvement.
  • Theological/Pastoral Care qualifications and experience.
  • Demonstrated capacity to pastorally care for and enhance the wellbeing of those in need.
  • Highly developed communication skills, including listening, compassion and empathy.
  • Experience raising up, leading and supporting a team.
