
Spiritual Care Advocate

As a compassionate and skilled pastoral care professional, you will provide leadership and support to individuals, their families, and teams in need.
This role involves visiting clients in their own homes across the region, requiring access to a car with reimbursed mileage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing client/family's spiritual and emotional needs and developing a tailored care plan.
- Offering spiritual and emotional support to clients and their loved ones.
- Liaising with relevant religious/spiritual leaders to coordinate provision of support services.
- Providing training and guidance to team members on areas related to pastoral care, including boundaries, grief and loss, and faith and hope.
- Working collaboratively with team members to enhance their skills in meeting the spiritual needs of clients.
- Participating in opportunities to promote pastoral care services and foster partnerships.
Requirements:
- Strong commitment to HammondCare's Christian mission and values.
- Substantial understanding and experience working with people living at home with life-limiting illness, including dementia and journeys of grief and bereavement.
- Personal and active Christian faith, with regular church involvement.
- Theological/Pastoral Care qualifications and relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care and enhance the wellbeing of those in need.
