
Spiritual Care Support Specialist

The role of a Pastoral Care Coordinator is to provide compassionate support and guidance to individuals in need. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of people living with life-limiting illnesses, including dementia, and their families.
This involves assessing the client's spiritual and emotional needs, developing a care plan to ensure their well-being, and providing prayerful support to team members. The ideal candidate will also be able to train and upskill team members in areas related to pastoral care.
As a key member of our team, the Pastoral Care Coordinator will play a vital role in creating an inclusive and supportive environment for clients and colleagues alike.

- Strong understanding and experience of people living at home with life-limiting illness, including dementia, and the impact on carers and journeys of grief and bereavement
- Strong personal and active Christian faith and church involvement
- Theological/Pastoral Care qualifications and experience
- Demonstrated capacity to pastorally care for and enhance the wellbeing of those in need
- Highly developed communication skills, including listening, compassion and empathy
- Experience raising up, leading and supporting a team
- Strong administrative and computer skills
