Australasia Workers' Compensation Expert

This role is a high-level position within the Workplace Risk team that involves supporting clients in exploring all available large employer premium arrangements within the Australian workers' compensation market to ensure sound governance and ongoing due diligence. The specialist will be responsible for leading feasibility assessments and strategic planning for client workers' compensation programs, advising clients on eligibility criteria and regulatory requirements for all available large employer alternate workers' compensation (WC) arrangements, enhancing tailored roadmaps including financial modeling, preparedness assessments, and application support, liaising with regulators and stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory obligations, providing ongoing advisory support for clients insured under all available large employer arrangements, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated risk solutions, and identifying expansion opportunities in line with changing market conditions.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical claims, premium, and self-insurance expertise across all Australasian jurisdictions, experience working across different large employer premium arrangements, experience consulting with jurisdictional workers' compensation and safety regulators, a growth mindset with experience in financial modeling and feasibility analysis, excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services, demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions, and exceptional client relationship skills. A tertiary education relating to Workers' Compensation, Injury Management, or Work Health & Safety will be highly regarded.
