We are seeking a skilled Claim Support Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our Recovery and Return to Work team, you will provide technical support and advice to Case Managers, ensuring seamless claims management processes.

With a strong background in workers compensation, you will coach team members and provide strategic guidance on Victorian workers compensation law and WorkSafe Victoria guidelines. Your expertise will help us identify emerging trends and implement effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to claims teams on the claims management process, adhering to Victorian workers compensation law and WorkSafe Victoria guidelines.
  • Assist claims teams in achieving performance measures and reviewing current practices and procedures to ensure they remain relevant.
  • Develop strategic initiatives and procedures to meet service, performance, and compliance requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting collaboration and open communication.
About You
  • Strong technical experience within the Victorian workers compensation scheme is essential.
  • Previous experience as a technical specialist or similar role in workers compensation claims is highly desirable.
