Young Individuals Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and patient individual to support a young girl with various disabilities. The ideal candidate will create a safe and nurturing environment, encouraging self-expression and emotional regulation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care and daily living skills
- Engage in community activities and promote social interactions
- Support the development of emotional regulation and coping strategies
- Encourage interests in cooking, crafts, and cultural activities
- Facilitate communication and understanding in social situations
Requirements:
- Must have own vehicle and driver's license
- Must have NDIS worker check (NDISWC)
- Must have working with children check (WWCC)
- Must have police check
- First aid and CPR
- Experience working with children or young adults with disabilities preferred
- Understanding of ASD, ADHD, and related conditions
This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about helping young individuals thrive and meet their goals.
Additional Information:
The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as patience and empathy when interacting with the individual. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are also essential requirements.
