Specialist Neuropsychology Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our multidisciplinary recovery team. The successful candidate will have expertise in neuropsychological assessment, diagnosis and intervention for young people with moderate to severe mental health challenges and neurodevelopmental disorders.

  • The role involves delivering comprehensive assessments and evidence-based interventions to children, adolescents and youth presenting with complex mental health issues.

Key responsibilities include:

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert care through comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and diagnoses.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments for IDD, ADHD, SLD and ASD in complex cases.
  • Provide tailored evaluations and interventions based on individual needs.
  • Lead cognitive remediation programs and deliver group and individual treatments.
  • Offer clinical supervision and upskill colleagues in neuropsychological assessment.

In this specialist role, you will work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders including families, schools and community services to support the recovery journeys of young people.

You will also contribute to service development, innovation and research initiatives, thriving in a dynamic environment passionate about early intervention and long-term recovery outcomes.

Selection Criteria
  • Accredited post-graduate degree in Clinical Neuropsychology and full registration as Psychologist with AHPRA and endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology.
  • Demonstrated skills in neuropsychological assessment and evidence-based interventions in child and adolescent settings.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and ability to build therapeutic relationships.
