Crisis Care Specialist
Key ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Crisis Care Specialist to provide recovery-oriented and trauma-informed clinical care for young people in suicidal crisis. The successful candidate will support individuals through:
- Crisis response and intervention
- Psycho-social support and therapy
- Safety planning and risk assessment
- Collaborative identification of community resources
- Liaison with healthcare providers and family members
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Working Arrangements
The Crisis Care Specialist will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in psychology, social work or a related field
- Experience working with young people in crisis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
