RDO Equipment is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Officer to join our team in Brisbane. As an IT Support Officer, you will play a critical role in providing technical support to our end-users, ensuring that any issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, triage, and resolve incidents related to Windows and web applications, business systems, networking issues, end-user computers, desk phones, headsets, mobile devices, and other technical issues.
- Follow standard operating procedures to carry out request fulfillment, including staff administration and new equipment requests.
- Image, deploy, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, and ship them to our various locations.
- Manage assets, including records keeping, tracking assets through their lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning, and auditing.
- Participate in the rotating on-call roster.
Requirements:
- Diploma or higher in a business or information technology field.
- Previous experience as an IT Service Desk Specialist.
- Strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Practical application of a broad range of Microsoft O365 software application functions and technologies.
- Proven ability to build relationships with customers, fellow work colleagues, and management.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to think on your feet.
- Valid driver's license.
