About the Role

RDO Equipment is seeking a skilled IT Support Officer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring that our systems are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, triaging, and resolving incidents related to Windows and web applications, business systems, networking issues, and end-user computers.
  • Following standard operating procedures to carry out request fulfillment, including staff administration and new equipment requests.
  • Imaging, deploying, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, and shipping them to our various locations.
  • Assets management, including records keeping, tracking assets through their lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning, and auditing.
  • Participating in the rotating on-call roster.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or higher in a business or information technology field.
  • Previous experience as an IT Service Desk Specialist, minimum of 2 years.
  • Strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Practical application of a broad range of Microsoft O365 software application functions and technologies.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with customers, fellow work colleagues, and management.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to think on your feet.
  • Valid driver's licence.
