Job Description

The primary responsibility of a Culinary Operations Manager revolves around leading a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality food.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house and administration, to ensure seamless operations and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • AQF associate degree or Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
What We Offer
