Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Employee Relations Specialist to join our team. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing complex employee relations cases, including grievances, workplace investigations, and performance management.

About the Role:

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues through effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide expert guidance to leaders on performance and conduct issues, including termination processes.
  • Support employees on long-term sick leave by providing necessary resources and accommodations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across different business units to resolve ER matters efficiently.
  • Assist with ER projects, such as policy reviews and case process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in HR, ER, law or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an employee relations role within a large, fast-paced organization.
  • Demonstrated experience with conciliation processes at the Fair Work Commission or similar bodies.
  • Strong background in handling workplace investigations, grievances, and compliance issues.
