
Employee Relations Specialist

The role of Employee Relations Specialist is to lead and manage the employee relations function within a dynamic and multi-site workforce. This position requires an expert with 8-10 years of experience in HR, ER or a legal role, specialising in employee and industrial relations across multi-site environments.
Key Responsibilities- Solve complex challenges, conduct workplace investigations, and ensure compliance with Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Provide expert ER/IR guidance to support leaders through enterprise agreement interpretations, policy compliance, and dispute resolution.
- Cause and support managers to foster high-performing, accountable teams.
- Drive cultural excellence by championing diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Optimise workforce planning to help leaders build and retain talent while achieving resource efficiency.
- Innovate through change by implementing impactful programs and collaborating on company-wide P&C initiatives.
You will work closely with Centres of Excellence to deliver tailored HR and ER solutions for our client group of 300 people.
Requirements- A proven track record of managing complex ER cases, workplace investigations, and dispute resolution processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment legislation, Modern Awards, and Enterprise Agreements.
- Experience working in industries with multi-site, geographically dispersed workforces (e.g., retail, hospitality, or health).
- A strong ability to coach and influence leaders to foster accountability and performance.
- A passion for building inclusive, high-performing workplace cultures.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, IR, Law, or a related field (highly desirable).
