National Strategic Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled National Strategic Planning Manager to play a pivotal role in overseeing tactical operational planning across quarry and building product businesses.

  • Coordinate short-term and long-term quarry reserve planning to meet production targets, ensuring timely and future-proofed delivery.
  • Work with the Environmental and Compliance team to ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Proactively plan, prepare, and submit required approvals, reports, permits, and documentation to regulatory bodies for current and future planning consents and associated conditions.
  • Collaborate with site and state managers to plan project approvals within preferred timing and budget constraints, identifying opportunities for site consolidation, co-location, and progressive rehabilitation.
Requirements for Success
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, with at least 5 years in a management position.
  • A strong understanding and experience of planning for quarries and building product operations.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale, multi-site operations and leading teams across multiple locations, with Project Director/stakeholder leadership experience.
  • Strong strategic project management and planning knowledge with skill in their application.
