National Strategic Planning Manager

As a key member of our organization, you will oversee tactical operational planning across quarry and building product businesses, ensuring alignment with our strategic initiatives. This highly strategic, national role involves working closely with the business to secure and manage the execution of all planning consent conditions well ahead of operational needs.

You will be required to work extensively with internal and external stakeholders and provide forward planning and strategic advice to support commercially optimal decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the business on short-term and long-term quarry reserve planning to meet future and current production targets in a timely manner
  • Work with the Environmental and Compliance team to ensure compliance with local and state regulations
  • Plan, prepare, coordinate and submit required approvals, reports, permits, and documentation to regulatory bodies regarding current and future planning consents and associated conditions
  • Collaborate with site and state managers to plan and align upcoming project approvals with preferred timing and budget constraints
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years in a strategic planning role, with at least 5 years in a management role
  • Strong understanding and management experience of planning for quarries and building product operations
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale, multi-site operations and leading teams across multiple locations
  • Strong strategic project management and planning knowledge
