Job Overview

This strategic leadership position plays a pivotal role in overseeing the development and implementation of tactical operational plans for quarry and building product businesses.

The National Strategic Planning Manager is responsible for aligning these plans with the company's Property Optimisation initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and future-proofed planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to develop and manage short-term and long-term quarry reserve planning, meeting production targets and future needs.
  • Working closely with the Environmental and Compliance team to ensure regulatory compliance and effective planning.
  • Preparing and submitting necessary approvals, reports, permits, and documentation to regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinating with site and state managers to plan and align project approvals with preferred timing and budget constraints.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a strategic planning role, with at least 5 years in a management capacity.
  • Strong understanding and management experience of planning for quarries and building product operations.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale, multi-site operations and leading teams across multiple locations.
  • Excellent strategic project management and planning skills.
