At Adbri Limited, we are seeking a dynamic National Strategic Quarry Planning Manager to oversee the tactical planning and oversight of quarry and mine operations and rehabilitation programs. This highly strategic role will focus on the commercial and operationally efficient extraction of resources, with considerable co-ordination and forward planning across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop short-term and long-term quarry reserve plans to meet production targets, ensuring optimal resource utilisation and sustainability.
  • Oversight of geological assessments and collaboration with consultants to identify areas for extraction, maximising resource recovery.
  • Design and implement quarry layouts and resource extraction plans, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.
  • Co-ordinate with the Environmental and Compliance team to ensure regulatory compliance, including environmental and safety standards.
  • Prepare and submit required approvals, reports, permits, and documentation to regulatory bodies, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Collaborate with site and state managers to plan and align project approvals with preferred timing and budget constraints, achieving operational efficiency.
Requirements

A successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in quarry or mining operations, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • A strong understanding of quarry reserves planning, environmental management, and regulatory compliance in the mining and quarry sectors.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale, multi-site operations and leading teams across multiple locations.
  • Extensive knowledge of quarry and mining planning legislation and regulatory compliance, preferably across multiple states.
