About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Administrative Specialist to join our team in managing deceased and protected estates. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional with a strong administrative background and continuous improvement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive end-to-end management of deceased and protected estate matters, including documentation, transactions, account variations, and/or the settlement of funds.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders concerning the management and administration of deceased and protected estates.
  • Provide advice and assistance to internal stakeholders dealing with deceased and protected estate matters.
  • Support the administration and governance requirements of intranet content and procedure documentation.
  • Oversee expenses and reconciliations for the unit, including reconciliations of internal and customer accounts, and invoicing.
  • Administration of post-funding customer requests and loan variations/adjustments.
  • Prompt management of incoming requests, including status updates for internal and external customers in relation to enquiries.
Requirements
  • Experience working at a professional level with individual accountability for outcomes.
  • Ability to manage workloads in a busy environment and meet agreed timeframes.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to accurately prepare documents in accordance with organisational and legislative requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and computer literacy/skills.
  • Collaborative and self-motivated approach, with initiative to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Demonstrated experience and/or qualifications in a relevant field such as Administration, Legal, or Account Administration.
  • Experience working in a relevant industry such as Finance or Banking (desirable).
  • Experience in the management and administration of deceased and protected estates (desirable).
