Job Description:
We are seeking an ambitious Sydney FMCG Account Development Professional to join our high-performing team in Sydney. This developmental role is ideal for a candidate looking to build a career in account management within the FMCG industry. The incumbent will play a key support role within the National Account Team to ensure customer channel strategies are implemented with excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Manage internal trade spend processes and submittals with customers.
- Coordinate customer activations, including off-location events.
- Develop product promotional forecasts and collaborate with customers on forecasting.
- Evaluate promotions for nominated customers.
- Maintain customer range lists.
- Process customer requests for images or product samples.
- Establish relationships with relevant retailer contacts at Tier 1 customers.
- Manage customer relationships at allocated Tier 2 and Tier 3 customers, supporting the National Account Manager.
- Communicate account priorities efficiently to the field team.
- Assist with product range reviews and ad-hoc presentations.
- Plan new product launches.
- Support new business development.
Requirements:
- Degree qualifications preferred.
- Experience within the FMCG or Retail Industry (in roles such as Territory Manager, Category Analyst, or Brand Activation).
- Numerically savvy and possessing good commercial acumen.
- A team player.
- Ability to balance multiple tasks – administration support for a National Account Manager and customer-facing duties managing a specific customer portfolio.
- Eager to learn.

Salary Range: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
