Strategic Account Executive Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Strategic Account Executive. This role will focus on developing strong relationships with key stakeholders and driving revenue growth within existing customer bases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build Trusted Advisor Relationships: Develop deep understanding of client needs and goals, identifying opportunities to deliver value-added solutions.
  • Leverage Industry Knowledge: Utilize expertise in enterprise software sales to share insights on maximizing license value and driving business benefits.
  • Penetrate New Organizations: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing customer bases, driving revenue growth and expansion.
  • Provide Valuable Insights: Share knowledge and expertise with customers, helping them navigate complex markets and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Manage Sales Pipelines: Develop and maintain robust sales pipelines through prospecting and pipelining, ensuring consistent lead generation and conversion.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Motivated Enterprise Software Sales Executive: Proven track record of success in direct enterprise software sales, with a minimum of 8 years' experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the assigned industry (Defence) and broader Federal sector, including relevant regulations and market trends.
  • Quota Achievement History: Stable and progressive history of quota achievement, with a demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed targets.
  • Account Management Expertise: Solid foundation in account management, radiation, and pipelining, with a proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Software Solutions Expertise: Useful to have knowledge of BPA, DPA, RPA, CRM, and Case Management enterprise software solutions, as well as experience working with large partner organizations.
  • Sales Training: Prior participation in formal sales training, with a strong understanding of sales best practices and methodologies.
