A leading local government organisation in the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia, seeks an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join their dynamic team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to contribute to the success of Central Coast Council. As a key member of the People and Culture team, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR advice and support to business units across the organisation.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in HR business partnering, complex industrial relations, and employment law. You will also possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to business units on matters related to employee engagement, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve workforce productivity, retention, and overall employee experience.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement organisational strategies that align with Council's goals and objectives.
- Analyse complex data and information to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, managers, and external stakeholders to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Degree qualifications in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in HR business partnering, preferably in a local government or similar industry.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- Salary range: $99,000 - $119,000 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation.
