Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH), and The Royal Women's Hospital (The Women's) have developed a Strategic Cancer Service Plan (SCSP) that focuses on delivering world-class cancer care for adults in Victoria and beyond.

">Job Description:">
  • Develop and implement high-quality project planning and management approaches to lead the implementation of the SCSP.
  • Drive project delivery through day-to-day management of activities against the project plan, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Independently gather and critically analyze relevant information/data to facilitate decision-making, design, and evaluation of initiatives, and monitoring of progress towards project objectives.
  • Identify, track, and resolve issues, mitigate risks, and where appropriate escalate to the project governing committee.
">Required Skills and Qualifications:">
  • Previous operational experience leading health services at a senior level, with extensive experience in running complex projects.
  • Exceptional skills in communication, negotiation, and mediation, with comprehensive understanding of complex hospital systems, including clinical and financial performance indicators.
  • Health degree qualification, with postgraduate qualifications in management or health/business administration or equivalent project management expertise.
