About the Role

The NEMICS team is seeking a Strategic Cancer Service Improvement Lead to join their dynamic and collaborative workforce. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for implementing cancer services reform, managing innovative service improvement projects, and driving practice development across the regional network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve cancer services and outcomes
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones and objectives
  • Foster collaboration and partnerships with health service providers, government agencies, and other stakeholders
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, consumers, and community groups
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in health or a related field
  • Substantial experience in cancer services, health management, or a related field
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting
