**Job Opportunity:** Cancer Services Improvement Research Officer

The North Eastern Melbourne Integrated Cancer Service (NEMICS) is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to deliver research skills and expertise to the VICS Optimal Care Summits program.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver project coordination, literature review, cancer dataset analysis, audit and survey data collection and analysis, ethics requirements, program evaluation, and reporting.
  • Contribute to the reduction of unwarranted variations in cancer care for tumour and non-tumour specific groups presented at summits.

**Requirements:**

  • Honours or Masters degree in public health, health sciences, epidemiology, translational research, or related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of research methodologies relevant to a health setting.
  • High-level organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and achieve performance targets.

**About the Role:** A Research Officer is required to contribute to the delivery of strategic consultation and cancer services improvement aligned with the Victorian Cancer Plan, VICS Implementation Plan, and Optimal Care Pathways.
