Lead Cancer Services Manager Role

The Lead Cancer Services Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing key clinical operations across ambulatory care settings, including oncology, haematology, palliative care, radiation nursing, and specialist programs like cellular therapy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Drive Service Innovation: Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement in ambulatory cancer care to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance patient experiences, streamline healthcare services, and improve service delivery.
  • Nursing Leadership: Leverage your expertise as a seasoned nursing leader to mentor, guide, and empower advanced practice nurses to deliver high-quality cancer care.
  • Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and promote a culture of collaboration and respect.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA is mandatory for this position.
  • A Master qualification in cancer management or a related field is highly desirable.
  • No less than five years of experience in senior nursing management or a relevant health role is required.
  • A proven track record of leadership in clinical settings, with expertise in governance frameworks, change management, emergency preparedness, and driving continuous quality improvement.
