YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE
Radiopharmaceutical Scientist
Fixed Term (2 years), Full-Time Role
The role involves supporting the production of radiopharmaceuticals for clinical use over a fixed term of two years, with the possibility of transitioning into an ongoing position. It requires a Bachelor of Science and experience in the radiopharmaceutical industry, particularly in production.
The position entails working 80 hours per fortnight and reporting to the Chief of Radiopharmaceutical Sciences.
Key responsibilities include producing radiopharmaceuticals, maintaining laboratory equipment, managing stock, developing operational documents, and participating in research initiatives, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality practices. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential for success in this role.
Remuneration as per Medical Scientists, Pharmacists and Psychologists Victorian Public Sector (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement Medical Scientist Grade 1 Year 1 (RX1) $63,674.00 per annum (full-time equivalent) to Medical Scientist Grade 1 Year 7 (RX7) $91,785.20 per annum (full-time equivalent) dependent on candidate experience.
