About the Role- As a Construction Claims Advocate, you will provide coverage and claims strategy advice to clients on complex claims issues.
- You will identify suitable policies and coverages for less complex issues and analyze notifications to offer solutions.
- The successful candidate will facilitate the claims process for clients, ensuring progress from notification through to closure.
- You will monitor insurer responses and engage with them to support a smooth review of claims.
- Draft communications for clients, including letters, claims calculations, and review documents.
- You will provide data and insights to help develop action plans to manage clients' total cost of risk.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless claims process.
- Extensive experience in construction insurance policies and claims, including contract works, industrial special risk, and liability claims is required.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential.
- A strong technical knowledge of construction claims is necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- The ability to develop relationships and manage stakeholders with a clear customer focus is essential.
- Calm under pressure, with confidence to discuss complex issues with senior leaders and lead meetings is required.
