Job Role: Insurance Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Insurance Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our underwriting department, you will play a vital role in supporting our underwriters in servicing our broker partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and administer insurance transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and intermediaries by providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Support underwriters in determining acceptability, conditions, and pricing of moderate and complex insurance risks.
  • Collaborate with the accounts department to finalize renewals and new business placements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated administrative experience with a strong focus on organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A background in the insurance industry is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Construction or trade experience is also desirable but not essential.
