Job Title: Desktop Support Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing professional and well-mannered telephone and face-to-face service for all enquiries.

You will act as an effective interface between users and service providers, supplying all necessary diagnostic information according to procedures.

In addition, you will participate in ongoing team training and development, provision IT hardware through documented procurement processes and procedures, and prioritize and effectively manage BAU requests and incidents as well as any approved projects and tasks assigned and approved by your line manager.

Consistently, you will seek improvements and efficiencies in process, procedure, and standard, and communicate them to the team and leadership for review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for desktop hardware and software
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve IT-related issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT procedures
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and initiatives
  • Continuously improve IT services to meet business needs

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Expertise in delivering IT support and computer hardware support and maintenance
  • A proven track record of working within a team and independently without supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, with key stakeholders
