About the role

At Ausenco, we're looking for an exceptional Proposal Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a critical role in the development of compliant, competitive, and compelling proposals for our clients. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated proposals that showcase our services and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal staff, other business lines, and external partners to ensure successful proposal development.
  • Assist with kick-off meetings, win planning, proposal technical reviews, and other critical meetings.
  • Provide guidance on Ausenco's processes, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance.
  • Work with the technical team to identify response requirements and develop a realistic approach and schedule for proposal responses.
  • Develop innovative solutions and leverage our corporate network to identify existing capabilities that respond to client challenges.
  • Collect company data and conduct internal/external research as needed for opportunity response documents, strategy development, and pursuit efforts.
  • Develop, prepare, and update non-opportunity specific/additional sales qualification and reference materials in designated information management systems.
  • Work with the proposal/technical team to develop and articulate win-themes and key messages, ensuring consistent integration into relevant proposal sections.
  • Conduct client, competitor, and market research as required for client and opportunity strategy development, providing corresponding analysis.
  • Ensure completed proposals align with client requirements, RFPs, contain win themes, and are correctly formatted and approved by senior management as per the DAM.
  • Conduct proposal debriefs with clients, partners, and staff as necessary, collating and distributing lessons learned and applying them to future proposals.
About you

We're looking for a critical thinker with 3+ years of experience in proposal coordination, preferably within a professional services firm. You should be able to pose relevant questions to enable completion of low-definition tasks and possess solid verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is essential, and excellent team player skills are a must. You should be able to work collaboratively with others, be an assertive, cooperative, and effective communicator, and perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
