About the Role:

This newly created position as Business Development Specialist will play a crucial role in contributing to the growth objectives of Honan. As part of our Real Estate team, you will work closely with the Head of Growth and Strategy and other senior managers to ensure high-quality client service and satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have experience in insurance or real estate, demonstrate sales skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and basic computer literacy. Proficiency in CRM systems, excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are also essential. A valid drivers license and own vehicle are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and conduct sales calls and presentations to maintain a large portfolio of potential accounts and achieve a high frequency of sales work.
  • Utilize existing networks, small lists of account leads, and research to gain business or interest from small, straightforward potential accounts in a delegated region or industry.
  • Assist senior colleagues in various markets and industries with aspects of the deal process to gain broad exposure, new relationships, and relevant experience.
  • Maintain awareness of market occurrences, competitors' positioning, and contract status to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Draft comprehensive due diligence reports and presentations for proposals or senior colleagues.
  • Construct targeted marketing plans for business offerings and concepts directed at small, straightforward potential accounts and complex plans for senior colleagues.
  • Represent the company through professional organizations and events to expand and maintain a large professional network.
