About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team at Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently deliver professional, friendly, and engaging service to our guests
  • Follow Front Office policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Welcome, check-in, and check-out guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist guests with hotel facilities, providing information and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Efficiently handle all guest queries and requests, ensuring a high level of satisfaction
  • Promptly and pleasantly handle phone calls and guest messages, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
  • Ensure the Front Desk is adequately stocked and supplied at all times, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies, adhering to Accor's high standards

Requirements

  • Relevant work experience in the hospitality/service industry, preferably in a hotel environment
  • Prior experience working with Opera/Opera Cloud and MS Office Suite is highly desirable
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of responsibility and reliability
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
  • Flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays, as required
