Territory Manager, Hospital - VIC

Life Unlimited. At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.

As a key member of our sales team, you will drive the growth and acceleration of Advanced Wound Management products in the hospital channel. Your territory will cover Hospital accounts in the VIC region.

Through infield work with key customers, including Specialists, Nurses, Doctors, Procurement, and Key Opinion Leaders, you will provide value and take control of sales conversations. You will interact clinically and navigate the complex hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve budgeted sales, market share, and focus products within assigned territory.
  • Improve territory potential through effective targeting and territory management.
  • Supervise territory sales progression to targets and initiate corrective action where necessary.
  • Identify key targets to expand sales of key Smith & Nephew brands.
  • Provide outstanding service to existing customers while proactively canvassing for new opportunities.
  • Deliver in-service programs, workshops, and seminars to customers as needed.
  • Understand and follow CRM ways of working and system requirements.

Requirements:

  • University Degree or similar in Engineering or related field, or 7 years of experience in the medical field with loan and consignment inventory, valid driver's license.
  • Prior sales experience within the healthcare industry is essential.
  • Experience handling wound care or related medical consumables' portfolio is essential.
  • Shown success selling into hospitals.
  • Up to 25% domestic travel required.
