As a key member of our Change Management team, you'll play a crucial role in predicting, planning, and supporting the successful delivery of the people side of change across our transformation programs and projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing our people for new ways of working by engaging with executive, business leaders, subject matter experts, and end user groups to enable seamless deployment of programs and projects.
- Breaking down complex changes into meaningful language and keeping the team in sync with the tempo of broader RACQ life.
- Embedding changes so that they quickly become the 'new normal'.
- Leading change management activities in accordance with RACQ's Change Management Framework, including change impact assessments, stakeholder identification and mapping, and change readiness assessments.
- Enhancing business performance with minimal disruption to BAU operations and the Member experience.
- Building project change impact understanding and change management capability across RACQ through development of materials to support and coach stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within the Change team and taking the lead on relevant improvement initiatives.
- Assessing the readiness of individuals and teams for change and providing support during go-live and hypercare activities to ensure a smooth transition for everyone involved.
- Proactively identifying, registering, and planning for any anticipated resistance or other change and people-related risks and implementing effective control and mitigation strategies to address these risks.
As a Change Management Specialist, you'll have:
- Comprehensive knowledge of different change management theories, approaches, tools, and best practices.
- Extensive change management experience working on complex, large-scale projects and programs.
- Outstanding abilities in both verbal and written communication.
- Established proficiency in problem-solving, strategic thinking, influencing, and negotiation.
- Demonstrated expertise in guiding, influencing, and coaching senior executives and business leaders through diverse change scenarios.
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, relationship building, and fostering rapport.
