At Amazon, we're seeking a skilled Cloud Business Development Manager to drive the growth of high-potential early, mid, and late stage startups on our AWS platform. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving revenue and user adoption, migrations, and ensuring new startups select AWS as their primary cloud provider.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a set of startups/scaleups customers, with a focus on ensuring customer success and driving revenue growth.
  • Developing and executing against a comprehensive account/territory plan, with a focus on accelerating customer adoption through well-developed sales engagements and successful GTM strategies.
  • Creating and articulating compelling value propositions around AWS services, and accelerating customer adoption by engaging Founders, CxO, Board of Directors, and VC influencers.
  • Working with partners to extend reach and drive adoption, and developing long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.

As a Cloud Business Development Manager, you'll be at the heart of the latest trends like GenAI, machine learning (ML), data/analytics, and many other hypergrowth services. You'll work closely with business development teams who are driving strategic support, global co-programming, and portfolio engagement to help drive top-of-funnel customer acquisition and accelerate seller cycles in the field.

We're looking for a self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit who is prepared to work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment, execute against ambitious goals, and consistently embrace the Amazon Culture.

**Requirements:**

  • 5+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
  • Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans and territory plans.
  • Ability to use data to make informed decisions on prioritization.
  • Experience using industry-standard sales tools.
