Key Responsibilities

Your Role

The National Account Manager plays a crucial role in our organization, serving as the vital link between our brand and retail partners. This position is essential for driving demand and supporting the revenue growth of Samsung's Consumer Electronics (CE) division.

This dynamic role includes comprehensive responsibilities such as developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing relationships with retail partners, collaborating closely with internal teams including Product, Marketing, and Retail/Field, and regularly forecasting and reporting on sales performance.

What You Will Achieve

Strategic Planning

Grasp your account's business strategies to maximize Samsung's unique offerings. Formulate sales plans for both Sell In and Sell Out, coordinating marketing initiatives with key accounts aligned with corporate strategy. Translate division targets into actionable weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts and account plans, collaborating on market execution. Monitor and enhance your account's performance through detailed business planning and regular reviews, implementing a metrics-driven management approach. Foster channel engagement between your account and sales teams to ensure consistent sales outcomes and positive customer experiences. Organize and lead monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual business reviews. Develop and tailor ongoing tactical sales and retailer training programs.

Relationship Development

Cultivate a robust network of relationships across proprietors and franchisees. Create an engagement matrix to facilitate deeper connections between Samsung and your account. Enhance Samsung's market value propositions through alignment and refinement of account activities. Keep your accounts informed about all relevant Samsung initiatives, product developments, and activities through regular updates. Take responsibility for overall account relationships and performance, serving as the primary point of contact as needed.

Business Performance

Achieve assigned financial and market share targets. Monitor current performance against targets and identify strategies to boost sales. Ensure balanced sales performance across all business units within your account. Commit to continuous process improvement and adherence to policies.

Internal Collaboration

Work closely with various support functions, including Product/Category, Marketing, Claims, Commercial, Legal, and PR, to drive favorable outcomes for your account. Establish a communication plan for internal stakeholders to keep them updated on your account's performance and activities.

Qualifications

Your Experience

Over 5 years of experience in B2C/B2B2C National Account Management, preferably in the Consumer Electronics sector, though experience in Mobility, Telco/IT, or related fields is also valued. Demonstrated success in account management and building customer relationships. Proven ability to manage sales, forecasting, planning, and promotions to drive revenue. Familiarity with the Consumer Electronics retail market, ideally with vendor/supplier management experience. A solid track record of meeting or exceeding targets and expectations. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. A commitment to improving operational processes. Resilience and adaptability, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
