Your Role
As a National Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in connecting our brand with retail partners, driving demand, and enhancing revenue growth for Samsung's Consumer Electronics (CE) division.
This diverse position involves comprehensive responsibilities, including the formulation and implementation of effective sales strategies, managing relationships with retail partners, collaborating with internal teams such as Product, Marketing, and Retail, and regularly assessing sales performance through forecasting and reporting.
What You Will Achieve
Strategic Planning
Comprehend your account's business strategies to leverage Samsung's unique offerings. Create sales plans for both Sell In and Sell Out, coordinating marketing initiatives with key accounts aligned with corporate strategy. Translate corporate targets into actionable weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts and account plans, collaborating on market execution. Develop and assess your account's performance through detailed business planning and regular evaluations, employing a metrics-driven management approach. Enhance channel collaboration between your account and sales teams to ensure consistent sales outcomes and a positive customer experience. Organize and oversee regular business reviews to track progress. Design and implement ongoing tactical sales and retailer training programs.Relationship Development
Cultivate a robust network of relationships with account owners and franchisees. Create an engagement framework to foster deeper connections between Samsung and your accounts. Strengthen Samsung's market value propositions through alignment with your account's activities. Keep your accounts informed about all relevant Samsung initiatives and product developments through regular communications. Serve as the primary contact for overall account relationship management and performance.Business Performance
Meet established financial and market share objectives. Monitor current performance against targets and identify strategies to boost sales. Ensure balanced sales performance across all business units within your accounts. Commit to continuous improvement of processes and policies.Internal Collaboration
Work closely with various support functions, including Product, Marketing, and Legal, to achieve favorable outcomes for your accounts. Develop a communication strategy for internal stakeholders to keep them updated on account performance and activities.Qualifications
Your Experience
Over 5 years of experience in National Account Management, preferably in the Consumer Electronics sector, though experience in Mobility, Telco/IT, or related fields is also considered. Demonstrated expertise in account management and building customer relationships. Proven ability to manage sales, forecasting, planning, and promotions to drive revenue. Familiarity with the Consumer Electronics retail landscape in Australia, ideally with vendor/supplier management experience. A successful track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. A commitment to enhancing operational processes.
