About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Director to join our Business Transformation team in Sydney. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our practice, working with a diverse range of clients to deliver on the execution of various engagements.

Our Business Transformation team of experts works with corporates and private equity firms, including portfolio companies of private equity firms, and other key stakeholders to support value creation efforts, optimize growth and operating costs, and manage event-driven change, often in challenging or accelerated situations. Our services include strategic and business planning, profitability improvement, data and analytics, merger integration, and carve-outs, pre-deal commercial and financial due diligence, and interim management support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a critical senior team member to help deliver and manage one or multiple workstreams and engagements, with responsibility including directing the client team, delegating tasks, handling all elements of executing, managing the FTI team, and helping manage the client relationship on each assignment.
  • Manage various engagements and work directly with clients and FTI Consulting Executives.
  • Lead due diligence mandates, including commercial and financial due diligence matters.
  • Develop performance improvement projects, assist with strategy development, and design organizational structures.
  • Develop and/or review financial and cash flow models.
  • Conduct merger integration planning and execution.
  • Perform industry and company research and assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
  • Lead program management office and implementation support roles for special situations engagements.
  • Help mentor and train junior staff, on and off projects, and provide internal thought leadership on various industry topics.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and quantitative exhibits for clients and third parties.
  • Network and build internal relationships with members of the BT team and other FTI Consulting service areas.
