About the Role

We're seeking a highly experienced Head Chef or Culinary Director to lead our client's kitchen operations. As Culinary Director, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing seasonal menus that showcase fresh, locally sourced ingredients
  • Leading a team of chefs to deliver exceptional cuisine
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Overseeing stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety standards and kitchen cleanliness

You'll work closely with management to plan special events and menus, using your expertise to drive culinary excellence and menu innovation in a high-quality kitchen environment.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role
  • Strong culinary skills, particularly in menu planning and execution
  • Expertise in managing kitchen operations, including ordering and inventory
  • Ability to lead, train, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen compliance
